The Raid Canopy is just 65kg* with a dynamic load limit of 180kg**! Plus, it will double your roof real estate without sacrificing aesthetics.
Choose either a Tradie Pack with aluminium panels on all four sides, or our Premium Pack which features a front glass window and rear glass door. With the Premium Pack you can also mix and match between left and right glass windows or aluminium panels to suit your needs.
Optional accessories such as the security screens (showcased above), port windows and enclosed window cabinets will also become available in the near future.
Utilising the strength of it’s aluminium structure, we have been able to maximise the window opening in width and height providing far greater access.
The Raid Canopy comes standard with integrated roof rails, allowing for direct, low-profile fitment of Raid Cross Bars, perfect for mounting rooftop tents, awnings, solar panels, recovery tracks and more.
At just 65kg*, the Raid Canopy is super light, yet packs a punch with a dynamic load limit of 180kg** and static load limit of 350kg.
Internally, the whole canopy is braced at regular intervals, with each panel being secured with extra-wide spreader plates. Captive nutsets are set into the roof, ready for additional accessories.
*65kg is an average weight of the canopy and total fitment weights may vary from vehicle to vehicle. ** The RAID Canopy has been rated to 180kg, this is not a verified rating for each vehicle’s tub.
Following consistent design cues from our Raid Bar, the Raid Canopy is as aesthetic as it is a practical and affordable canopy solution.
Each Raid Canopy has been engineered to include a vehicle-specific tub strengthening bracket, to ensure that the vehicle's tub is not compromised with the improved load-carrying capacity.
We found its limits, so you don't have to.
During the engineering process, we undertook the most invasive lifetime endurance testing of its kind.
This included being temperature tested from +50 Degrees Celsius, down to -30 in an extremely quick time frame, whilst simultaneously being shake tested on a lab-shaker table.
We put the Raid Canopy through 1.6 million cycles over 16 hours, at forces of up to 4G, all while carrying a roof load of over 160kg. The canopy and tub passed with flying colours!
Utilising the strength of its aluminium structure, we have been able to maximise the window opening, in width and height, providing far greater access.
An integrated pressure vent sits neatly at the front of the canopy, to assist in pressurising the canopy and reducing dust ingress.
Additionally, running along the roof bracing are pre-cut slots for threading cable ties, to make clean wiring that much easier.
